A God Story - What do people mean when they say, "God is always working."

Coming from the Northeast I would often recoil at phrases like, “God is always working,” “Your identity lies with God,” “Build up the Kingdom,” blah, blah, blah.

Faithful, or not, upstate New Yorkers, North-easterners in general, do not talk about God much outside of Sunday services, let alone infuse these Christian sayings into colloquial speech. Too cheesy, too fluffy, its gonna be a no for us.

Now I get it. I still don’t throw these phrases around frivolously, they lack the nuance I like, but now I get it.

These sayings now resonate because I actually experienced God in my life. In this episode I share a small God story. I share how God used the worst of me to write the best of Him. Now I understand what people mean when they say, “God is always working,” I still lack a Southern accent, but now I get it.

If you are at your worst it is my sincere prayer that if anything is taken from this, dilute suffering story, that it is hope.
